hey...just a thought...im going to wakarusa this weekend and am planning on bringing all my toys....emx kaossilator microkorg mini kp.... and last year it was extremely hot by 9 am.....and im a little worried about the heat damaging my toys.....has anyone had a synth melt in the trunk of the car ...

BACK FROM THE DEAD!.....the pile of circuit boards that a drunk friend of mine left after attempting to fix my electribe has been reassembled....and somehow kinda functions....the little soder point for power wasnt connected...i just didnt know what i was looking for and showed it to my dad and he ...

did you resodder it youre self?...if so did you have anytrouble taking out that big circuit board to get to it?....or is there another way to get to it?.....

...not looking to get rid of that one gathering dust in the box by chance are u?....

the part im talking about is the black thing u plug the power cable into...... and it isnt like moving around or anything....it just doesnt connect when you plug it in....and it wont come on at all...im hoping its just a loose wire...but i havent actually taken the circuitboard off to see the inside ...

i baught a used es1 off ebay a year or so ago....and had problems with the powersupply being loose from the start....but its finally completely out.....no power at all any more...its wiggled its self loose.... i took the back panel off to see if i could fix it with a sodering iron or something ...

im also experimenting with the koassilator/microkorg combo.....but i was wondering if its possible to run the kaossilator through the microkorg and use effects.....filters...delays ect....
