Hi there, The Stick Control book is a great place to start if you wanna start playing drums. Butt........ I would start a loop and just pound out 1,2,3,4 for a bit then start adding extra hits as the magic comes to you. Don't necessarily try to match the notes or syncopation of the loop. Just free ...

Compression

Hi there, Anyone else using a compressor on their WaveDrum?? I'm finding that the volume changes when using different velocities is too much for my taste. (and of course you gotta use different velocities to alter the sound) I'm using just a bit of compression and it evens the volume out very nicely ...

Wowzerz!

That is a very nice price point for that amount of functionality!

I'm set for loopers but I gotta check one out.

Time to make some noise at the local Guitar Center and then walk out without buying. Again..............

(Actually GC gets alot of my business out of necessity)

Hi Wavedrumer! Were you sworn to secrecy or can you give us hint as to what new looper? I'd imagine its not out yet be we are on a "Need To Know Basis" over here!! On a different note (I thinks it's an E sharp.........) I'm gonna start diggin' into my new TC Helicon VoiceLive Touch. The looping ...

Hi there,

Yeah, the Original Lexicon Jamman blew some minds!

Re: the learning curve and other issues like matching volumes, etc with loopers: IMHO it's way worth the time to get up and running on yer looper!

It's almost like a new instrument; you have to practice with it to develop the skills.

Hi there, I just got rid of a BOSS RC-3 cuz there was a slight delay when switching from loop to loop. I understand that a few (if not all) BOSS loopers have this "attribute". Makes them useless to me...... Just a heads up to any shoppers. So...... I picked up a Digitech Jamman Delay. Love it. There ...
