Report after years of owning my M50

So far, the only thing wrong with my M50 is one small LED either became disconnected or burnt out. I've done more than a few shows, still never a real problem.(Besides the rare "Hum" that is never found). A GREAT investment for me personally. A couple notes: I treated the power connection to my M50 ...

When I'm in the studio, I'm still a softsynth kind of guy! :-).. I have used the Karma stuff, THAT stuff IS AMAZING! @ alexdx: I set EVERYTHING up in Combis, even if I use only one program (which I think everything I have setup has at least a couple voices). It's just simpler for me. You can use a ...

My findings on the M50 after 3 years of heavygigging with it

I used to post CONSTANTLY on here. I was one of the originals on here, I was one of the first to own and gig with the M50. I just saw all the Private messages asking questions that stopped about a year ago. Im sorry for not relying. I've been VERY busy and once I had a really solid grasp, all I was ...

I borrowed a FCB1010 for a friend (over a year ago & keep forgetting to make this experiment). It's a GREAT theory. Can I set the buttons up to act like keys? It would be nice if I could setup a song as a preset, then have 4 or so button act similar to the chord buttons on the M50. Any ideas would ...

OMG! I think my Amish buddy had the same issue,,, no matter how hard he played without it having electric, it just doesn't sound as good as mine with power!

Well, my m50-61 is 2 years and 3 months old, gigging constantly AND has seen some studio time, and the thing seems fail safe to me (I had a LED burnout/break/whatever on one of the mode buttons, but it STILL works fine). It happened over a year ago but couldn't go without the keyboard as it was ...

Midi channels are for in, if I recall correctly. On the main (Global), set to "Don't send midi", something to that effect.

Hope this helps!

For a decent sounding key's amp (ACTUALLY FOR A BUDGET BASS PRACTICE AMP IT'S AWESOME) Check out the Ampeg BA115. Me personally live, I just use the stage monitors, but I actually play Bass, and maybe 12 to 15 tunes per night I play keys. But if I'm having a Jam session, my little BA115 sound's ...

Have you tried these? http://korg.com/ClassDetail.aspx?ID=99 I'd kind of agree, but the organs on here (assuming this is the correct link I sent you), used as a base, some tinkering with the voices & effects, I came up with some REALLY good organs (IMO). But live, I do think the M50 organs seem to ...

Well, there are at least 3 ways I can think of.

Try this.

Open the combi the ARP is in you want, save to an unused combi. Edit away!

GOOD post here. I have a related question. I would like to setup my FCB1010 to activate the 4 chord buttons. Anyone have a "step by step" process? I have spent hours last year trying to get that to work, without much luck. Setting it up as a stomp box(es), was simple. But to actually fire notes, not ...

I could be wrong, but I don't think it's possible for the two to "Drift" apart, unless you have it totally unlatched. And even then, unless your playing is "Drifting", it seems to me to be impossible. I have many ARPs setup, play them live (I don't know how many times now), I never have seen this ...
