Hi LiPI I finally got it working (after a long struggle). Seems the Radias USB midi driver needs to be among the first 10 midi devices that Windows sees (some earlier O/S throw back). If it's not you get a waring saying the USB driver is not istalled correctly when you load up the Radias editor ...

Hi LiPI, thanks for taking the time to reply.

Still no joy here but I'll persue this a bit further when I get more time next week.

It could be that my verions of Windows 10 (Pro) has lost compatibility with the driver. I think I'm on the very latest build:

Version: 1607
OS Build: 14393.321

Cheers!

Hi LiPI

Thanks for the reply

That particular version of the driver doesn't seem to be on the Korgs Radias drive list.

Can I please ask where you got the v1.15.401 driver from?

Many thanks!

Radias Editor and Windows 10

Hi Folks Has anyone here tried the Radias editor running under wndows 10? there seems to be a driver issue preventing the editor uploading / downloading patches over USB. I have tried the latest driver but no luck. I can currently get patches up to the Radias uing my midi interface but they won't ...

Hi DJ Thanks for the explanation :) I have come to the conclusion that you don't actually cycle through them individually but that you use them all together to affect the sound. I had initially thought that you could set them all up and then cycle through them one at a time while playing using each ...

Using the 6 Virtual Patches

Hi, sorry if this has been asked before but I couldn't find anything but does anyone know how to select and cycle through the virtual patches?

Perhaps there is a short cut I'm overlooking?

Many thanks!

I just picked a mint condition 2 month old KingKorg for £580, can't complain at that!

I do think it sounds a little bit sterile in places but on the whole it's a nice bit of kit with it's own character that will add some nice new sounds to my existing setup.

Using the SX with Cubase 6

Hi Folks

Does anyone here use their Electribe SX with Cubase 6?

I can happily change patterns but the Electribes doesn't seem to transmit or receive volume (for all parts).

Has anyone managed to overcome this problem?

Many thanks!

I don't post often but that was a really cool tutorial, probably the best I have seen as it not only tells you what to to but also shows you visually the effect on the waveform making it much easier to understand.

Suberbly done!

Hi When you see the screen in the editor with all the Init patches select the first patch and then look at the Radias display. Select the first drum patch and click receive in the editor. Just keep incrementing the drum patch in the Radias and work your way down the list of Init patches to fill them ...

I like that fact that its on there, it means it not just another VA synth. I think in the coming years people will start to pick up on how versatile the Radias really is.

Hi Styleflip

Thanks for the offer. While it was out I can live with it, it's nothing major for me and it still looks a whole lot better than it did! :)

I got a Style flip for my Electribe SX and while I prefer it to the red/pink default colour, i wasn't overly impressed that the holes generally didn't line up too well.

One good point, no one seemed to have played about with the colours, it was exactly the same as the original artwork I submitted.

Hi M8

I generally have the SX volume on half or less and the Tube gain at about the 10 O'clock position in the dial. That's straight into the mixer and then straight into the PC.
