Due to the last comments in this thread, can anyone lock it, since some users have posted insulting and fruitless posts. The Oasys is discontinued, and many users spend more time posting here than making music with the Oasys. So where is the point to maintain this thread open and marked at top ...

Good stuff David, please PM me the details. Most Oasys users dont even post on here because either there not aware of this site, just too busy or internet forums just wouldn't appeal to them. I know loads of people including a few Korg owners that wouldn't consider writing on here, a car forum or ...

Thanks. I do actually use Logic in the studio but like to get away from there at times and write on the Oasys at home. The official statement did basically say that they needed to channel resourses on other things while the recession is on. Surely they can do this for us when the economic situation ...

Maybe Korg could promise us a sequencer update in 12 months time when the economy has picked up???
Im more than happy to wait a year if I know I its defiantly coming at some point.
Theres no reason at all why Korg cant continue support when the economy is moving again??

Oasys users should have defiantly recieved at the very least the M3 Xpanded sequencer update as a priority considering how much we invested in Korgs vision. We spent so much money on this thing and IMO have been short changed. I only bought my Oasys a few months back, believing that there was alot ...

Your probably right David. I desperately hope Korg offer us a free or pre-paid sequencer update. You would think that Korg would want to do it for themselves considering how many years and money they have invested in this product, let alone how much money customers have spent on their product that ...

Vey nice, but they are open back.
Will you be using them for recording vocals as well?
If so, the DT 250's would be better as they are closed back which helps to prevent leakage on to the mic.
The Senheizers are nice as well, as said above.

Beyerdynamic DT 250's are really excellent.

Everyone prefers them in my studio to anything else, Pro Audio shops really rate them as well.

Not cheap, but I wouldn't buy anything else unless Beyer have recently brought something better out.

Ive just been speaking to the main director of one of the UK's most respected Music Technology chains and he told me that he was talking to one of the big wigs from Korg Japan at the German music exhibition and that he stated that there is another OS update in the works and further support for at ...

Re: Official statement on the status and future of the OASYS

We have recently released some system tweaks/bug fixes and have plans for some more ongoing sound support, like the new sounds we just released. We constantly get ideas/suggestions/requests for more features for the OASYS, but we cannot promise that any of these can be delivered. As always, we will ...

Agreed, but they will sell alot more once the word gets out and it appears on Korgs websites. They could easily make $500,000 or more if they sell 1000 updates. I wonder how many Oasys were sold around the world? 4000 - 5000?? Korg have the chance to finish the Oasys project properly with one final ...

It's a damn shame there won't be anymore of that synthesis/effects software coming to the Oasys .... As I said earlier I am surprised so few people are popping up to express that sentiment.[/quote] I bet almost all the Oasys owners around the world don't even visit this site. I have owned Korg ...
