Are people really complaining about the 3 osc architecture!?!?! You guys are aware that the GREAT MAJORITY of subtractive synths consist of a 2 osc architecture right?

EMX. I don't really think that the 'analogness' of the mono' series is a defining feature. The sound from comparable digital units is still superb. I used to think the same way, until I took time to a/b a few times. You really just can't beat the sound quality of VCO analog such as the Monotribe ...

hehe, that's pretty cool your enjoying your monotribe, but make no mistake, the EMX is a MUCH more powerful and capable synthesizer; think of it this way, do you think the monotribe will ever be able to create the sounds the EMX is capable of with its different synth engines, modulations ...

Take a good look at the Monotribe's front panel, you'll be able to see in a minute all the synthesis options on the 'tribe giving you a good idea of it's architecture; now look at the Electribe and you'll soon notice that you pretty much have all the synthesis options the Mono has to offer and then ...

stick at it. I started with the EMX and to this day its still the core of my setup. Its synth capabilities are great when you dig deeper and start experimenting. the drums can be a bit of a let down at time but with some work they arent half bad. EMX is a great starting point. will teach you alot ...

Tempest is good, but a bit expensive; The Electribes are the way to go. These are accessible machines that don't require an eternity to master, they sound very good (esp. once you start layering sounds and using the aux. outs) plus it's very well built (metal casing, good knobs and responsive ...

I've gone through a few of synths in the past year and a half; P08, MS-20, Little Phatty, Mono evolver, Virus TI, Blofeld and Nord Lead 2xL, and the only 3 synths that made the final purge where the R3, the Evolver and the Mopho. I mention those synths, esp. the Virus TI, the blofeld and the Nord ...

Which one are you getting first? Or are you ordering both?

I'm leaning towards the delay, because of its usefulness for effects.
Well I'm getting both, specifically to hookup the duo to the delay (the duo sounds like an awesome little lead synth).

Get the SD version. The SD card is good reason to buy it, SM cards are expensive and obsolete.

haha. well admittedly, im gonna have to ask you guys the age old question: would you rather pay 4000 dollars for a superb 16 timbral monster that exists outside of your computer, or a 4000 dollar piece of **** for your computer? Some people just don't like the A6; I would take a Waldorf Wave over ...

here's a little neat trick: once you have your pattern ready (say, a bassline) and the length of your pattern is 2, all you have to do is save your pattern, then go to the pattern edit menu and change the length to 8, press the pattern edit button again and save.
