I looked up for kimu's question because I'm very interested in it myself also. I found that in page 369 in Krome's Parameter Guide there's a title "Compatibility with the M50". Looks promising! It has, for example, the following info: "The KROME can load M50 format .PCG and .SNG files while ...

Hi Rishat, I have a new 1gb SD Card, how will i load M3 samples and keep it forever as you have mentioned? You can load them from http://korg.com/Product.aspx?pd=280 and then go to Support, seek M3 Producer Preset Data and download the zip file. The zip file contains all the presets of the M3. The ...

Ever noticed the piano sound on m50 61 keys is somewhat thin and compressed compared to the 88 keys? BTW Upon watching alot of m50 videos on youtube, it seems that the piano sound on the 61 keys is compromised. On the other hand, the 88 keys sounds realistic and thick. Tho comparing sound on ...

My suggestion is get and SD card, load the sample of M3 and keep it inside your M50 forever.. It will increase your sound banks tough the sounds are not that easy to use as you do with program and combi but if you like some you can load it to user area. There are some awesome patches in it..!! Its ...

Done.
Your keyboard looks nice! I like the (led?) light coming from under the keyboard. Maybe we could at some point hear or even possibly see something played with it?

Re: Help with volume pedal

Hi guys, My guitar player gave me a volume pedal he is not using to try it out on the M50. The pedal is a ZOOM Corporation FP01 which has an IN / OUT and EXP. female connectors (1/4") and a rotary knob on one side. Do you guys think this pedal should work with the M50? I want to use it mainly for ...

the prophecy is monophonic, while the moss board has 6 voice polyphony, apart from that i think sound wise they both have the same capabilities. This is not entirely correct. Even though the sound-engine shares some similarities, they do have very different capabilities sound-wise too. Moss has ...

What kind of software would you prefer then? I think the software both in M50 and in the editor is very logical and easy to use. The menus are simple and it's easy to locate different things.

The most sold unit must be the 61 version, that's a possible reason for complaint coming that way. they've been selling M50's for over a year now. There's plenty of 73 and 88's out there. Plus, I gig mine constantly. SOMEONE with a 73 or 88 would have experienced it by now. Yeah, that might be the ...

Prophecy vs. MOSS

This might be a stupid question but what are the differences between Prophecy and the MOSS board or can they even be compared? I read that Prophecy is based on Digital Multi Oscillator Synthesis System and I became very curious about this little machine.

Your setup looks quite nice! I'm also more familiar sequencing with a computer but there's a place for everyone. I read a little bit about that machine and it seems to be quite logical to use :)

Well, depends on where you live but if you live in Europe I'd recommend to check out Thomann's keyboard cases. They are custom made to match your instrument and you can also ask them to make extra features (like little extra space for pedals etc). I have two Thon Keyboard Case I and I've been very ...
