I have connected them with 2 cables. The midifile i play on PA4x player send program change on ch 16 to the Kronos för right sound in the setlist. I can play for instance piano on Kronos and send Note data to Pa4x for controlling harmonies when I sing thru the Voice FX in Pa4x. I have tried to make ...

Re: Set list slot Transpose to external synth

Is there a different way that songs work inside a Set list slot compared to a combi put in a Set list slot? or am I doing something else wrong here? Yes, song MIDI (anything that comes from internal SEQ) goes more or less directly to MIDI OUT. See "Kronos Param Guide" p 783 where is also good ...

If Kronos is the only source of sound, then go straight from Out to monitor, you need 1/4" TRS cables.
If you want to play Kronos along with some other audio source then use mixer. It is not good practice to plug wires in and out often i.e. for using monitors for some other source time to time.

Just my 2c to offer: Have Kronos X may years, had several times (couple times a year when I moved my Kronos around weekly, less later whan I settled it to studio) similar hangup message or just nasty hangup without any message. Every single time this was cured (for a while) by opening Kronos ...

It was 71v..... I also checked the connection at the power supply where the 4 wires connect to it. Guess I needed more light to see the purple wire different from the black. It is not 5 volts unless the board is turned on. SO, I'm guessing something on that part of the circuit board is bad. I was ...

ok, well, #1gives me 5v when powered on, but not off. #3 well, that number seemed outlandish. I also checked the digital out board- but it is getting the correct voltage. Is it possible to have a bad power supply, but still get the right voltage to certain areas? What do you mean saying "#3 well ...

ok- when I connect to the ground and the collector of the q606 when it is turned of- it measures under 1 volt. .017 to be exact. When I turn it on it measures 3.9 at the collector. switching the electrodes just makes it negative. 1) First please measure and tell what "+5SB" and "Power_OK" gives to ...

Well, when I check it in diode mode, it shows the short. when I turn it on. When I check the voltage, it comes up with really strange numbers. Flip the multimeter and it shows the same only negative. You should measure Mute_A as following (after you ensured that +5SB and POWER_OK signals behave ...

Do you mean measure it at that connector when it's plugged in or remove it to see what voltage it is getting? Also- how did you get a pic on the forum? :) 1) Yes, you should measure voltages while connector connected. One wire (+5SB) should be contact #1 and must be +5V all times when Kronos ...

Looks like we have 0 when plugged in but not turned on and then +5.03 like we should and it goes to 11.99 for the 12v at the 12v connection on 3005. Is there enough of a tolerance for that? I will check out the mute chain next. At least the haystack is getting smaller right? ;) Thanks! I do not ...

You mentioned the 3005. That is the digital out board. The audio jack is 3006. Is that a typo or does the digital out transmit to the audio out? Which I suppose would make sense.. Just want to clarify. There is no warranty left on the keyboard and the insurance is covering a new one. BUT I don't ...

1) You cannot check that without opening keyboard. If you have valid warranty and reasonable ways to get your board repaired under warranty, go there. 2) If you want do it yourself and on your own responsibility then a) Download Korg Kronos Service manual, easily found with Google b) Open your ...

If ALL outputs behave similarly (including headphones, L/R, Individual 1-4) then issue is probably on Jack board (KLM 3005). This can be related to "Mute All" functionality that mutes (kind a shorts) all outputs until Power is Good when turning Kronos on - to avoid pops and noise. Mute All ...

They both give you 24bit/48kHz sample rate signal. Futher depends on external gear you use.

Please explain bit more: - What NI controllers you use? - What do you mean by "In case I receive a certain controller message on a certain channel" - Who is this "I" receiving message - What do you mean by "certain contoller message"? Midi CC message? Or message that is sent by some external MIDI ...
