Yes - a tough choice indeed. I cannot comment on Montage as I have neither played or seen one but, if I lost all my music gear, I would only be seriously bothered replacing my PA4X and Kronos. Some of the things I do with mine plus other comments:- Record with both Use Kronos as my "UPPER 1" sound ...

That's a tough choice. I have both the Pa4x and the Kronos 2, but use them very differently when I perform. One as a solo instrument and the other as a band instrument. With that said, the Montage would give you a very different sound set and would be a nice compliment. I myself are looking for a ...

Hello All, I have a PA4X. I recently sold my Motif just because I was offered the same price as I purchased it(I purchased a pre owned). Now I have the option to buy either a Montage6 or Kronos 2. which is a better choice ? my main purpose for the additional board is for more sounds and arps, so ...

pitch difference between 2 keyboards???
Hello ,
I have a PA4X and a motif XF. I am finding that there is a half note difference between the keyboards. I can ofcourse setup a shift. But is this common? anyone else notice this? or what could be the issue?
I checked on both boards if there is shift setup, and I don't see any

Create new style on board in PA4X?
Hello, I know we can create style in an external sequencer as well as modify existing ones onboard and make new ones. How about making brand new ones in the keyboard itself? Can I laydown the rhythms and chord variations and other instruments and make a style on the board itself, from ground up? I ...

I'm using the K&R Spider for a Kronos 88 on the bottom, leaving the brackets for the second keyboard to hold a hat for the time being. It's heavy, but it seems very stable. I've just taken a picture of the piano room now that there's an actual piano in there as well as the Kronos. This is what it ...

I have the first stand and its just about ok as a single tier for home use. It is now in the loft. You can't beat an x stand if you are on a budget. I have a two tier set up. I used a hack saw to reduce the foot print of the floor tubes and it's still reassuringly sturdy. Budget is $100 - $300. But ...
