I can't see how to load the soundpack. When I download, I get 2 files, one is 16 KB, the other is 377 KB. The 377 is a pdf file describing soundpack 2. If I click on the other file, it opens the editor, but doesn't seem to do anything else. I don't see any new sounds either on the main page or the ...

might be popular at NAMM, but would draw blank stares in the real world.

I used to ride a Suzuki SV650, but since switched to a BMW. Since my SV-1 is a keeper, maybe I should switch back and be all SV, all the time. These are things no one but me could possibly care about ;>

I used a Traynor K4 for a long time and it was a workhorse. Doesn't provide alot of stereo separation, so don't be oversold on the stereo aspect of it. However, as I now am always going to a PA when with a band, I switched to the Traynor K1. I have two of them, for when I want a stereo set up in a ...

I seem to be missing something regarding the new soundpack. I download it, click on the icon, and the editor opens up. But that's it. I can't see the new sounds or how to access them. Are there any instructions for how to use the soundpack? Other than that, I can get the editor to work just fine ...

I'm back to talk about my favorite issue, the "button bump." While I'm confident Korg will come up with a solution, I've got gigs to play, so I'm using my own chicken wire and gum fix. I bought some thin stainless steel strips from the local hardware store, cut them to the right length, put a single ...

OK, I will stop trying to do Korg's job for it ;> I can see the disadvantage of a panel lock, I just wasn't creative enough to suggest another solution, and I've seen panel lock buttons on other keyboards. Violet's "double press" idea sounds great (Korg should hire her before they hire me). A future ...

I was looking at the front panel this morning wondering if a hardware fix might work. Specifically, little shields positioned below certain buttons and angling up so that you can still reach the button from above, but are less likely to bump it while playing (you'll bump the shield instead). It's a ...

Ah, yes, ok. Great minds think alike. Well, it's unfortunate, because I've got to either return the keyboard or trust that they come up with something. It's annoying because I DO like the keyboard a great deal, enough to tolerate most of it's shortcomings. But this is really a dealbreaker for me and ...

I've had my SV-1 for a few days now and for the most part am very pleased, but there is a burning question. Where is the panel lock?? This keyboard needs a panel lock like Carrie Prejean needs a muzzle! It's far to easy to hit one of the 5-8 preset keys. I'm sure this isn't just me and my playing ...

Just guessing, but I think that may be Eldar playing the SV-1. He's featured in Korg's promo video. Makes sense that they'd give him a prototype. The playing is so good, it could be someone like Eldar who's holding back, keeping it in first gear, so to speak. Very clever promo, if it is. Anyway, I ...

Aha, one of them has to be set to volume, the other to expression. Well, it's not ideal, but it will have to do. Thanks.

controlling volume of different timbres in combis

Just got an X50. I wanted a lightweight all purpose synth for day to day rehearsals, and the X50 fits the bill nicely. Read the manual and have looked through older posts but still can't answer this. I want to set up a combi and have the B Knobs control volumes of different timbres. It seems like ...
