Also check the output channel. When I started doing combis (and I've only had the M50-73 for two weeks, now), I only heard the first sound until I realized that you need to set the output to the global channel (Gch) or they don't sound for you.

I finally picked up my M50 73 yesterday! Love it so far. I'm planning to perform live with a Nord Stage and the M50.
