That´s true; there´s only one effect you can use at a time. You can choose to route your sample through this effect by setting the fx/sw switch, or to leave it dry. I had the same problem. Please try to 1. set the "midi clk" parameter to "auto" and 2. set the "midirout" parameter to "usb" (both in the global menu). I don´t know if that´s everything you can do, but it solved the problem for me. If that doesn´t help, try to disconnect any external audio interface ...

Start/Stop messages from MS sequencer
Hello everybody! I´d like to know if the microsampler´s sequencer is able to send Midi start/stop messages. It syncs as a slave to an external source, and it also outputs Midi clock which syncs external gear, but I wasn´t able to trigger an external sequencer (e.g. ER-1).

There´s a neat thing you can do with the looper effect to loop external audio. - Set the effect to "looper" - Go to sample mode.
