Alright. after much fruitless searching for a solution on the internet and many attempt to edit the registry to get my Korg devices working again it turns out the problem is Korg's MIDI Drivers are buggy and will not recognize any Korg devices unless they are installed in the first 10 MIDI device ...

Korg MIDI Drivers not working with latest Windows 10 Update

My studio computer just performed a routine Windows 10 update and now none of my Korg synths will work. When I try to install their drivers the software sees them and tells me it has installed the drivers and yet nothing works. 1) How can I fix this? 2) Why doesn't Korg just use Plug-N-Play drivers ...

The MiniBrute and the Waldorf Rocket are looking pretty tempting, but I figure I've waited this long I can wait a little while longer.

They better not fix the midi channels. I hate it when modern gear assigns fixes the MIDI channel. Sometimes I don't want drums on Channel 10.

LOL I was thinking a hybrid with analog filter but yeah, bring back cassette.... That was the beauty with the old Ensoniq Mirage. It was a 8-bit sampler with analogue filters. It had a very unique, "grungy" sound for a digital sampler. I paid $2000 for my first Ensoniq Mirage back in the 80s ...

Heard from a worker in the synth department at my local music store that when he asked the Korg rep about the Volcas he was told they won't be released in high enough numbers to satisfy the demand so some stores may not get them for a few months after the official release. I've been patiently ...

The effects are global.

I suppose if you resampled with the desired effect it might do the trick.

Oh... well...

... that's disappointing. :(

But at least it's good to know it's not because I'm doing something wrong or my machine is broken.

Set loop length to 16, but only gives me 8 when recording.

I just purchased a Kaossilator Pro which I absolutely love (bought a Kaossilator a year ago and have been saving up for the Pro ever since). Everything seems to work okay except sometimes when I go to record a loop I will set the length of the loop to 16 beats but when I go to record the loop it ...

I can't believe they left off the Theremine patch from the original Kaossilator. That was one of the best patches ever.

C'mon Korg, Let Us Share The Love.

I'd been hemming and hawing over getting a Korg MicroSampler when they first came out to compliment my MicroKorg XL. I'm glad I waited because with the recent price drop it's very easy to dismiss all the problems I have with the machine as for this price it's a pretty hard machine to beat. The ...

Technically someone should be able to write a program for the Nintendo WiFi USB connector that would let it sync to a PC running a Midi sequencer. You might want to ask in the Nintendo DS homebrew community to see if anyone there has written such a program or would be interested in writing one. I ...
