Sampling time

Hi! I was whining on this forum because my sampling time seemed to be all used up & I could only get 5 seconds of time. I think I figured out the problem. When they say you get 159 sec of time, that is for the WHOLE BANK, cumulatively. Because when I opened an empty bank, there was 159 sec of time ...

I think the bonus sounds IS the thank you and a measure of support. Most want features added that were never advertised. I don't care about bonus sounds. I want to be able to make my own samples, not use someone else's. I don't ask for features that weren't advertised. All I want is the features it ...

Oh and also one more thing: In Key Gate mode, when it is prepped to sample (Sampling SW button is yellow) and I go to hole a key as one would normally do to sample, it exits out of sampling mode. And previously I had a problem where I couldn't get it to sample for long enough (but still longer than ...

Re: MIDI clock

Hi! I just bought a microsampler & am trying to learn it. I wonder if it can be Midi=clocked to the rest of my gear so that the rhythmic samples will play in the same timing as the Electribe MX (which is the controller in my setup). Can the samples be tempo-changed, I am still trying to figure out ...

MIDI problems

Hi! I was trying to set my microsampler to external MIDI clock with the Electribe being the controller. I thought I could timesync my samples to play at the same tempo as the Electribe. But instead, the microsampler samples are being played thru the Electribe! Wonder if the MIDI in socket is ...

The AudioIN+CombFilter Osc type lets you route the audio through a synth part, and then onto the FX, if you wish. I have never been able to make that work. I can't detect any effect in my external synth. I also have a question, can you apply 2 different effects to different synth parts? Like delay ...

Re: play back.

is it possible to have a play back of MicroKORG on synth part 1 of the EMX and still have the drum parts or other synth parts playing? if so how? cheers. :? Hi! I got my electribe in december so I'm still learning too. As far as I can tell, you can connect another instrument cable to the 'audio ...

I just got my electribe last week. It's awesome!!! It gives me that rhythmic backing that I need to keep my music from being completely incoherent. You ask if anyone makes non-dance music. I love Trance & would like to make some, but my music seems to fall into the category of 'Ambient'. The ...

I'm a newbie who just got a used electribe. How do you get new tubes, what kind do you get, and how do you install them?

I'm going to read the rest of your post & all the forum. I am just learning how to record patterns. Lot to learn!!

That looks like a card and an adapter. You just need the card (32MB to 64MB). That price looks to low BTW! so if I got that, I'd be able to use just the card? sorry... just not up to speed on "old" technology" , it's bad enough trying to keep up with the NEW stuff  That price is right ...

You should search Amazon.com......Tons of SM cards for sale, at affordable prices. I recently just ordered a few off there. They are described as picture cards for cameras...does that matter? OK is this what you mean? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820163403&cm_re=smart_card ...

The EMX and ESX sure have internal memory for patterns. On the ESX you will want to use a card to transfer samples from another piece of equipment or a PC. On both units you might want one to save backups of patterns, songs, etc. Look here for cards: http://www.korgforums.com/forum/phpBB2/viewtopic ...
