How do I do the recording? Is it possible with cubase 5 to play the midi sound - and record the rendered output from r3 at one time? Or do I have to user other software?

How does one deal with that in practice to use the preferences of MIDI? Do I have to render the MIDI parts to WAV, record other channel with MIDI, render to wave ... Maybe change notes in MIDI, render to wave ...
