I had the same problem too, but i fix it by opening and pushing one of the cables in.

But my M50 wasn't under warranty in my country, I bought it on Ebay with US Warranty. Sending back to seller was too expensive and difficult (Customs problems)

it's a hardware problem, but not so critical.
It just a bad connector's contact between mainboard (board with alluminium shield under touchscreen) and left panel (panel with buttons and knobs).
Connector was not completly inserted!
