I speculate that they didn't mention it because it allows Kronos to stand on its own two feet against the competition from Yamaha and Kurzweil. Haha. Yeah, like I said, they're really minor. Purely cosmetic.

The little rail thing on the back has a dent, and the finish is scratched off in another spot, I think. (That's just off the top of my head though.)

Selling my M3-61. Thought I would be able to use it way more than I do. Seems a real shame for it to just sit around the way it does! Right, makes sense. Yeah, as I said, don't have the FW expansion but the editor (I use the VST plugin with Ableton Live) works like a charm.

Anyone with EXB-FW and Mac OSX 10.6 want to chime in?

10.6.4, I believe. I update as frequently as I can. (Not near enough to my laptop to tell, though.)

Thanks, McHale. That's kind of what I thought...have you ever opened one up? Anything to beware of before I try it? I've worked on computers since I was a kid but they tend to be very predictable, and I've never opened a keyboard before.

Congrats! I too am a new M3 owner, and I'm very excited about it.

I saved a backup right when I turned it on. Although, I bought it used, so how much of the factory settings are still there, I can't be sure. I got it for a ridiculously low $799, and the eBay auction said there was a broken button (the "5" on the KARMA control surface) but the button works, just ...
