I guess I have to go for a cd-rom drive then. I just have to find a model that works with the Kronos. I have seen this discussed here on the forum, so I will do a search. (I tried with my wife's Apple external cd-rom player for MacBook air, but with no success....)

Loading Akai CDs without CD-Rom player?
Hello fellow Kronos owners. I have a question that some of you may have an answer to. I have some old Akai CD-Roms with samples that i would like to load. The only problem is that I don't have a compatible cd-rom drive. Is there a way to copy the akai cd's to a USB memory stick, so try can be loaded ...

That's weird that Yamaha created the FSX keyboard for environmental reasons. I wonder what those reasons were. Thanks for the info. The new keybeds was designed to be up to the RoHS standard. Hi!! I have been testing the RADIAS and the VirusTI for some time. (Had them both at home for about a week). Before I started tweeking/playing/compering I thought I would like the VirusTI best. After playing around with the Korg RADIAS I wish my OASYS had just as good vocoder as the RADIAS. As the first EXf (EXpansion effect) maybe :-) And I would like a page linked to every COMBI (via a tob/ drop down meny,...) where I could store text.
