Yep, I was thinking of buyin the Novation Launchpad.

Using the Lanchpad for triggering stuff afterwards, but using the controls on the M50 to navigate and transport functions while I record loops with the M50.

I dont have much desk space and the APC seems rather and bulky.

I want to contol Ableton Live and I noticed a lot of its functions can be controlled with keypresses to move the active cells about, but can all the buttons on the M50 send midi out, and can the virtual faders of the display send midi out ? Or is it only available for the 4 knobs and drum pads ...

I'm going to bid, max I will go is £1200 when the new price is £1700 for a 61 key version, but at these prices i'm kinda scared that the unit will malfunction on me in the future. Workstations are fine for learning, but you can easily get distracted by all the sounds and nice effects you can achieve early, and they tend to colour your music learning a bit. You need a lot of discipline, you need to not use these features of the M50, but stick to only the piano patches. You ...

I've seen photographs of the limited edition M50s, but I know photographs can be deceiving and tend to bring up high contrast of colours sometimes. But damn it, I cant make my mind up whether to get Red, Blue or Yellow. Yellow could be nice, but maybe its too banana ? Or its a Mustard yellow and not ...

I enjoyed using Karma on my Korg Karma years ago.

How many authorisations are allowed, assuming that people move their computers around, reinstall their OS or change hard drives. Are you easy on people reauthorising every 6 months or is there some limit.
