Is it possible to auto punch record a style/variation in the middle of an already recorded piece? Say...insert 8 bars in the middle of a recorded piece and specify a style/variation to "Quick Record" in those 8 bars? It seems like a very basic function for the PA3X, but I don't see any mention of ...

Just curious...is there any way to add recorded vocals thru the Pa3X audio inputs over a previously recorded Pa3X MIDI songfile and turn everything into an MP3 file? If not, what would be the simplest way to add recorded vocals to an already recorded Pa3X MIDI file? I find it hard to sing and record ...

Thanks to all for the responses...some good suggestions for a work-around. I'm still a little surprised that such a full-featured keyboard wouldn't (apparently) have a simple MIDI 07 change macro in the main sequencer menu. Thanks again.

Thanks, Lika...I know about what you said. I was just wondering if the MIDI command was there in the pa3x main sequencer so that I could do a more precise (gradual) fade-out than I could by using the track slider. Thanks again.

I am trying to find the MIDI Control 07 change command inside the main pa3x sequencer and don't see one. Am I missing something? All I want to do is fade out a track sound across 4 measures of sustained notes. The modify velocity/volume commands only work with changing notes, not across sustained ...

Phunky, Sorry for the lateness of my reply. Thanks so much for the "reminder"; I didn't have "multi rec" enabled on the TritonX...even after I did so, I still had a few problems getting the 01W to talk with the Triton X, but I did get song data to move from one to the other. Much obliged. Rock
