Does my Kronos always transmit MIDI time code?

I am guessing that the answer is no, and that it only transmits when the sequencer (and perhaps Karma and/or drum track) is playing.

I haven't sold my M3M yet, but I think it is going to the bay this weekend. Despite the power of AL-1 and the other synths on my Kronos, I still like the Radias board quite a bit and will miss it. However when I feel like sitting down and experimenting with building a new sound, which is one of my ...

I can disappear into my own world for a couple of hours just playing with making and tweaking just one patch on any one of the synths. In the end it may or may not be pleasing to me, but I never feel like any patch is "done" and whenever I do get into tweaking like this it really helps me to ...

Epica I have seen Epica live 2 times and they are really good. The singer (female) is outstanding. However with the new guitarist it has become more grunge which is not my style. Crap I didn't know he left the band. I saw them live in St Paul (Station 4) about a year ago with Jansen playing and he ...

I like this kind of music, especially if the growling vocals are mixed and contrasted with smoother singing. I agree with another post that the non-growling singing for the vocalist are the weak parts. Here the band sounds great, including the Kronos playing! Other symphonic and power metal bands ...

No crashes and no lockups. Many evenings spent fiddling around and trying to get the hang of programming the various Exi's (synths mostly).

I won't consider purchasing any external sound libraries until after the editor software is released. why? To punish Korg....or yourself? :o I am making a statement. I work in R&D at a major manufacturing company. I am quite familiar with resource allocation and prioritization issues in R&D. Korg's ...

The last response in that thread was about one month ago. I took delivery on my Kronos on Jun 10, 2011. It would be nice to hear something concerning the status of the software.

It seems that most of us Kronos owners are a bit older and established in life. I will turn 46 in August and work in R&D at a large, conservative, and pretty well-managed US-based manufacturing company. I consider myself to be an intermediate piano player; I have played guitar of all sorts for over ...

This is very entertaining. I have come to the conclusion and to accept that I am as much or more interested in the technology, process and success or failure at making weird noises as I am in making music. It takes all kinds I suppose. Sounding realistic has never been high on my list though. I ...

Some bands like NIN buy new boards or controllers for the specific purpose of trashing them on stage. I always support our local school music programs and have kids going through them right now, but I could definitely do a better job at making contributions. I sold a lot of band candy and wrapping ...

I hope never. In our times of reduce/reuse/recycle when I and my family and friends put significant effort on managing our personal waste streams and reducing our effect on the global waste stream, I find this sort of thing repugnant. That is my opinion. Perhaps this sort of behavior was original ...

I am taking a forum break from learning more stuff on how to program the Kronos. The more I learn the more I like. I am going through the basics of Mod-7 now.

Now I have a great use for the fancy stylus I bought for my Palm Pilot way back when. I am trying to figure out the rationale for not going with a capacitive touch display, and I am thinking it is based on durability and not wanting to have a large piece of glass on the outside of the Kronos. I am ...
