I'm accustomed to vintage analogs, which sometimes take ten MINUTES to warm up, so I think I'll be able to handle the boot time of the Kronos!
So should we feel lucky that our Pc's boot in 50 seconds, and not complain, because old computers had floppy DOS disks or cassettes?

The Kronos is an instrument, not a software project. You'd have an equal chance at building an open source helicopter or open source skyscraper. Think those can work? Kronos has a OS inside and its hardware is managed by software routines. It is a modern project that could easily include what I ...

Reaper DAW by Cockos has a SDK for developers and a busy forum that testify this is the modern way to make software/gear. Developers have to be let customize the systems and add missing features because company departments fight each other and seldom they create a perfect product even for the ...

-sound generation could be excluded from the exposed part of the system
-a dedicated "user space" could be reserved (one or more "screens/tabs")
-a form of apps screening by korg could be tolerated

Poll: SDK for Kronos would boost sales?

Do you think that a SDk with c++ headers to let developers create "apps" inside Kronos with access to its engine and data classes (say midi patterns, graphics, playback, ports, etc) would be advantageous to Kronos customers and Korg sales?
(no open source is involved)

plea: SDK for Kronos internal "apps" from third pa

Dear Korg inc., Dear Kronos engineers, Kronos is not shipped yet so I think some time can be used to refine the keyboard system, taking into account the last suggestions. This is very good, so please take into account these: -make effects chainable (specs not clear about) -make combis mergeable -put ...

General midi on M3

Hello, I would like to know if channel 10 drumkit selection is correctly addressed by the M3 when a GM midi file is played from host or memory. "GM" modules sometimes are not able to select the right drumkit on channel 10 because they have not the 128 bank, or because they do not set the drumkit ...

Provided that the programmed jump has musical meaning, that is there are not cut notes or incoherent settings, then I would like to know if the jump is executed whatever distance is between the points, with no interruption of the continuity of playback.
thanks

Thanks for the response.
I mean that the jump happens during playback seamlessly, with no glitches.
Is it possible?

But, if this is possible I think it is not related to karma more than to the M3 itself, so this should be a M3's normal feature.

So
in combi mode, provided effects are not changed, I have the same no-latency program change.
Now, I would like to know if this is possible also while last note is playing so the new settings are intended for the next note the track will play.
thanks
