Re: Cover
Hello, I'm a new SV1 owner and have that new baby paranoia over it. I just wanted to know if you guys leave yours set up without covering, or if you put a cover on it (be a shame to see it covered I know). Or do you just keep a feather duster on your belt at all times? :) What covers would do this ...

what type of xlr cables to use between keyboard and studio m
I just got a pair of jbl studio monitors for christmas. On the back the inputs are xlr and rca balanced. Looking at the sv1 manual is says that only the xlr outputs are balanced. So I want to use the balanced out xlr to the balaned in xlr of the monitors. So what type of xlr cables should I use ...

hiss
I am in agreement about the effects being over the top. I don't set them past 2. The amp section does not bother me. I am primarily a guitar player and that is the way a tube amp reacts. The difference is you only hear the noise when you depress the key with the sv-1. With a guitar tube amp it is ...

tube
Tubes usually last a long time. I am primarily a guitar player. I have had tube amps for years that never needed a tube change. I would guess that you will probably get a new keyboard before the tube fails.

noise
Not an issue with mine. I have the 88 key and no metal clicking noise, just normal quiet key thud. I would check to make sure those keys are operating properly. Test the sensitivity and sustain. If every thing is fine then I guess it would just be a minor irritation.

Sustain pedal
I am having a lot of difficultly keeping my sustain pedal from walking all over the place. I noticed that it has a recess for it to fit over a cross tie of a stand, but it doesn't look like the sv-1 stand has any thing like that. I am currently using an x stand. I was just wondering if anyone had ...

Studio monitors JVC LSR 2300
So, for home use I am considering a set of JVC LSR 2300 's . They are powered monitors and are relatively small. I am just inquiring on opinions about this product and how it will perform with the SV-1. Thanks!

I've got an 88
I see that it has been a while since you posted this so I figured I would try to give you an idea about the 88 keyboard. It is fairly heavy, but manageable. It is kind of long and awkward as most 88 keyboards are. As for a case, I am still tiring to make a decision. The korg specific case I heard ...

What to play the SV-1 into?
I was just wondering what I should get to play my sv1 into. I currently have a roland kc350 keyboard amp, but I am totally not happy with the quality especially with the stereo sampled pianos. I was considering getting two powered pa monitors (2-way with a 12" and a horn) but I'm not completly sure ...

Re: NO DECAY MONO PIANO
Hi foks, Anyone noticed if their Mono Piano (3) setting is properly decaying with the damper pedal down? Mine is basically just playing a seemingly infinite note...no decay. Thank for any input. I can understand why you feel like this. The mono piano I find to be louder and it also has much more ...

Re: TAP DELAY PROBLEM
just noticed another funny problem. this time with the tap delay. if I hit an A note, for example, it will delay like this: AAA...A...A...A...A : in other words, 3 real fast repeats, then a normal delay pattern. I cannot get it to sound an even delay. Anyone had this problem? Yes, mine sounds like ...

Worth noting that the Korg SV-1 case is overpriced for what it is... I got mine and was not impressed. It's ok but it's just a soft case that should sell for $99 tops. So there are no internal plastic supports around the edges? How much padding protects the sv-1? I was considering getting a hard ...
