If you set the pedal to expression cc11 you can set individual volumes any where and the expression will begin affecting the sounds as soon as you move the pedal. This may work better for you. Found out what was causing it; just in case anyone else runs into a similar issue: In the polysix program I'd set the volume to 0 and assigned the volume AMS to foot pedal giving volume control from the pedal. Because you can route the incoming iPad audio through Kronos IFX, surely you can then send those IFX outputs to individual outputs 3/4 say and leave the Kronos own audio coming out of L/R?
