Patches can be edited/loaded from a PC but samples cannot. When I said samples I meant the PCG files. Sorry for the confusion.

I read through that post, and several others, before I posted this question and thought this to be a different issue. Maybe it's not. Do you have any audio samples of that distortion as well for comparison?
