Hello, I know from experience that phpBB is a power/resources hungry beast. When my old RC community forum went over 800 visits a day my server started crashing more often than not. Even when I upgraded to the newer 3 version the load didn't went down as expected. I sincerely recommend switching to ...

I think that the "natural" replacement for the X50 is the PS60. Would be cheaper that a M50, almost the same sound engine, performance oriented UI for your rehearsing, live shows and studio, same as you do now with X50, very portable and looks very fun to play with.
My 2 cents.

Those apps look nice, whatever they work on today's music production flows or not. I think they are more 'performance' oriented, or just toys for people that already have an iPad. Not too dificult to implement on Kronos IMO. But regarding the never ending complain that Motif's UI is not as friendly ...

Re: Recording External MIDI DATA IN M50 Sequencer
My bad, your not talking about Gaia, but my guess is the same with SH-201. No multitimbrality (is that even a word?)kandarv wrote:...
Gaia is not multitimbral, at least on the synth part, you can play GM patches on diferent midi channels but not synths.

Re: Recording External MIDI DATA IN M50 Sequencer
Hello to all, I am curious about how I would go about recording this certain setup in my m50 sequencer: Let's say i want to record 3 internal sounds from my m50 and also 3 external sounds from another keyboard. Can this be done? For example... I am curious about the Roland SH-201( i do not own one ...

All I can tell from Yamaha is that they like to trickle-down from the Tyros. Roland I have no idea. Busch. That makes sense, given Yamaha's non-existent presence in the synthesizer market, and being king of the PRS 'junk for the masses' genre of keyboard. When one considers a legacy of GX1, CS80 ...

I happen to like JR and not DT. I wish JR could demo other keyboards 'cause I think he really pushes the envelope. Is just another kind of the demo. He's a great musician and he's good showing it of. There are not a lot of people who can play like he does, so that's admirable. Anyway... guess what I ...

Re: Rich F demo the Kronos at Novamusik
I think Nord Wave is a good addition to existing gear. It's not a standalone workhorse like Kronos. My bet is that you get more bang for the buck with Kronos actually. But I had a Nord Wave, and it's incredible. It can produce a huge variety of sounds. It's 3 operator FM capabilties are massive and ...

Re: Rich F demo the Kronos at Novamusik
New video, with a very detailed demo of the Kronos with Rich F. This one really makes me wonder, Should I skip Nord Wave and go directly to the Kronos? Though choices and I can't justify both. I'm getting the Tempest too, so that's a lot money, to me at least, on music gear. I think Nord Wave is a ...
