My Korg M50 is now back and repaired. Now I can hear the left channel, but the scratching sound is still there on the left channel of the headphones.
I have tried with several headphones and the scratch sound is even louder in some headphones than others.

Same problem, now sending to the warranty service
Hi Grafistas,
I had the same problem for some weeks. After that, the left channel of the headphone output stopped to sound forever.
Right now I'm packaging the keyboard in order to send it to the warranty service.
Regards,
Javier

Wow! Thank you very much for your explanation :D All you have written makes very sense. Following your instructions I have turned off Local on my M50 but it hasn't worked. However I have tried to uncheck "Enable Program Change" on my M50 and it has worked perfectly!!! The parameter can be found here ...

Well, some updates. If I utilize Cubase as a simple MIDI sequencer (not using M50 Editor as a VST Plugin) but using the standalone M50 Editor, then the issue dissapear, but when I assign several tracks to one MIDI channel, everytime I change the program associated to one of this tracks, then when I ...

M50 Editor bug??
Hi everybody, I have recently bought a Korg M50 and it's a great workstation. However I have just detected a problem that it's driving me crazy. This bug is associated with the M50 Editor. When I'm sequencing throught an external DAW (Cubase) and using the M50 Editor Plugin, if I configure several ...

The VST instrument plugin simply allows you to assign all the program assignments, effects routings and the rest of the sequencer mode setup (drum track, arpeggiator, tone adjust, etc) and save it with your project rather than having to save a seperate sequencer file on your SD card. I have tried ...

Not so easy unfortunately. First of all, I'm not sure if I have to use M50 Editor Plugin as VST Instrument (which are the benefits?) or simply use Cubase MIDI output associated to the M50 (it also works, and it's simplier). Secod, "hit record on the M50 and hit play in your DAW (cubase)". Once ...

Korg M50 and external sequencer workflow
Hello everybody, I'm a newbie and I have recently bought a Korg M50. The M50 sequencer is great but it's far away from the easy of use of any computer based sequencer (Cubase, Sonar,...). Therefore I'd like to know the basic workflow of sequencing in (for example) Cubase and then transfering the ...

Hello everybody, My soundcard MIDI driver dissapears after I install the Korg USB-MIDI driver. To be fair, you could say that your M50 causes the sea to boil and they would probably offer to replace it. To be honest I really think that a "I´ll replace your keyboard under any circumstance" policy isn't a good business policy. In fact in the email I sent to them I didn't force the replacement. ...
