Thanks Terry, but I do have the list of songs, if I press “open” having selected one, it reverts to the screen showing all the settings etc, but nothing will play . Grrr. Pse see pm.

sorry for delay in replying, been away. I have some tracks on a USB. I select Song Play, plug in USB. I select Sequencer 1. It shows the songs. I tap one,it goes yellow. Hi again, I downloaded some tracks from Karaoke Variety to a USB stick, but can’t get them to play. I see them on the screen, press select, but no go. Any ideas would be appreciated. Please assume a very basic knowledge of the inner workings of the pa4x

Yes, use Song Mode, then 'Select Song' from main display and navigate to your midi file. You can change sounds for playalong and press and hold Songbook panel button to save for recall. I have some midi files of part- karaoke tracks which I'm trying to play from usb on my pa4x, or load them into one of the on board Players, but it doesn't seem to do this,- cant get the answer from the manual, but maybe lookinhg in the wrong place Any ideas most welcome, many thanks.

Still on the first day with my pa4x, but I see that some beloved styles on the 2x are not on the new one. Also, some styles are named the same, but annoyingly are quite different. nope, not the split setting, but I think that I have solved it ( at last) the problem is having the "synchro stop" button activated. De select it, and all is well with the world

Just got my new pa4x. The chord memory button seems not to work - all accompaniment stops when left hand is raised from the keys whether the memory button is on or off. Am I doing something stupid, or is there a fault do you reckon ?.
