At this time not, but it could acquire exclusivity on Karma 3, just like Korg had (although not officially) exclusivity on Karma for years... In that case, it will refrain me from purchasing the Kronos, and my stage gear will be: Laptop + Yamaha Motif XF6.

Re: I'LL SET FIRE TO THE KORG BOOTH at Musikmesse in April i

However, you're not comparing the same thing. The Motif XS / XF have NO Karma function on board, whatsoever. External software, requiring a computer, is needed to add the Karma function I know!! I said "users from a DIFFERENT keyboard manufacturer will benefit " from Karma 3.0! It's irrelevant to ...

I'LL SET FIRE TO THE KORG BOOTH at Musikmesse in April if..

...they don't promise us they will implement Karma 3.0 in the Kronos at some point in future (not too far ahead though)!!! Then, after I get out of jail (namely I won't have money to pay the damage, because immediately after setting fire, I'll run to the Music Store and spend all my savings on a ...

consider slowing down the audio files using a high-quality algorithm on your computer/DAW, then slicing them and importing the slices to the M3 But if I then playback the song in the Seq at the original tempo (i. e. before slowing down in the DAW), then slices would overlap. The next will start ...

I want real time time-stretching of the audio samples when I change tempo on the fly in Sequencer mode.

EDIT: Or REX-file support!

Shakil, thanks a lot. I knew Roland synths could do real time time stretching, but we have to have the M3 (because of other brilliant features) and the budget is extremely limited. I will try the workaround described above (with the slices). I might encounter issues with slices overlapping (in case ...

If you use the .WAV tracks in a drum kit, then you can have upto 64 X 16 tracks Ok, I know the Sequencer has 16 tracks. But what's with 64? You can have the slices in different key ranges, and then have the MIDI Notes based on your mapping. Use RPPR Pattern to play the slices using the pads or a ...

Re: tempo change - how does sampled audio react?

Guys, thanks a lot!! 2) But if I slice them (based on their attack) prior to importing them into the SEQ (hence I bring only the slices to the sequencer) - is this a better approach? 2 - yes, but with limitations to decrease r12, what did you mean by that? You mean if I decrease the tempo (hence ...

do audio samples stretch at real time tempo change?

I have rummaged this forum and the manuals, but couldn't find a decent description/solution to my problem: I want to bring into Live performances sounds that we used on the album. These were from other sources than the M3 (guitars, vocals, other synths, etc). The only piece of gear on stage will be ...
