More interesting drum track
Hi everyone
I'm trying to record a sequence and vary the drum track - e.g. different fills every four bars.
Track 1 is the drum track, using a karma pattern. Can you use scenes to vary this drum track?
I've referred to the manual but can't seem to do it ...
Thanks a lot
James

Thanks for the advice- I checked, and doubled notes doesn't seem to be the issue. It's like a slow volume and/or filter envelope (?) that affects all tracks in the sequence - the sequence starts loud, then goes soft and muffled, then loud again. Every new sequence I create has the same issue ...

weird sequence phasing
Hi everyone, all my new sequences sound like they're going through a phaser (or something similar - a volume envelope?) - the volume disappears to almost nothing then gets louder again.
I've turned off all effects on each track and overall.
Any thoughts? Thanks a lot!

No sound from microphone
Hi everyone I'm trying to sing into the M3 to sample or put through effects for live performance. I can't get any sound from the mic at all. It's a dynamic mic - no battery. I've followed advice from the forum: - tried input 1 and 2 - rear switch set to mic - adjusted the gain - in 'sampling/audio ...

Hi Ross Melbourne - what a coincidence! He's Aaron - in Carrum Downs, but he sometimes travels around Melbourne to pick up and drop off. He was recommended by my local music shop in Footscray. His details are here: http://www.tayloredwarez.com.au/contact-us Sorry, I can't remember the exact price ...

Downtempo rhythms on the M3
Hi everyone
Any suggestions for laidback and classy downtempo rhythms on the M3?
Most patterns and Karma sequences seem to be rock, hiphop or dance. They're kind of in-your-face and cheesy, like an organ auto-accompaniment. Is that too harsh?
Any thoughts much appreciated.

beautiful mastering effects
Hi everyone, do you have any suggestions for mastering ambient, downtempo music?
Reverb makes it a bit muddy, and some like exciter make it harsh. I'm aiming for beautiful and smooth. Some stereo enhancement would be great.
Any thoughts much appreciated!

Hi everyone
I've created some songs using the sequencer. I'm happy with the composition, but the production is very meat and potatoes. I can tweak volumes and effects but the sound lacks inspiration ...
Has anyone been in the same situation? What worked for you?
Cheers

Automatically assigning samples to keys
Hi everyone I want to load a large number of samples (mainly rhythm loops) - then create multisamples. They're not pitch-specific so it doesn't matter where they're assigned. Is there any way of doing this automatically, so you don't have to painstakingly select each sample and do it manually? Any ...
