wouldn't you have to step input every note that way? it wouldn't be very versatile for live performance...needs a note input! If you are refering to the 3rd pic, they are realtime buttons, like the ones above it. I just forgot to but in black graphics for the black keys on buttons 2,5,7,10,12 & 14.

I'm not so sure a rack would work tbh. When I owned my Maroon beast, the performance controls were essential, and needed to be within easy access for realtime tweaks. On a rack this would be rather awkward. A small tabletop version (like Yamaha TG-33) that sat on your master keyboard would be better ...
