That's a good idea! thanks, I will post my findings when comparing the ZERO8 to all those different converters of the I/O's listed. Found the PDF's for both. ZERO 8 converters are: ADC: AK5359ET http://www.asahi-kasei.co.jp/akm/en/product/ak5359/ak5359.html DAC: AK4384ET http://www.asahi-kasei.co.jp ...

I/O Apogee, RME, Metric, Prisim v.s. ZERO 8's I/O 96-192k

Has anyone tried to run the Zero 8 in 192k mode or 96k mode, and use it as their main I/O without looking elsewhere because they are impressed with their Zero 8's AD/DA? I have read somewhere that the Zero 8's AD/DA converters are similar to the Metric Halo Mobile I/O 2882 Expanded device, and sound ...

Yes I get midi signals from those knobs in midi mode. The specific a/b blue lights, in the 2 channel module do not light up even when it starts up. I gave in and did recently unscrew and detach the module itself to see if the ribbon connection was lose, but nothing was lose, all was ok, also ...

A/B BLUE LED Problem with ZERO 8 on Channels 3 & 4

I have a KORG ZERO 8 (newest version 1.60), everything works perfectly on it except the A and B blue led's on channels 3, and 4 during full MIDI mode. The blue A/B led's just wont come on. I was wondering if anyone has engineer experience with fixing LED lights on the KORG ZERO 4 or 8 series. In ...

Could you please further explain about the negative pole with headphone amps? I mean so far, everything works perfectly.. sounds perfectly. And about the 5v, I read the thread about the Zero 8 mods and some guy did that, and put a fan inside his Zero 8. I wouldn't know how to go about actually doing ...

Thanks for responding someone, aside from hacking the machine taking 5v out of the powersupply, is there a crafty silent mini fan I could use to cool any gear I have that may heat up? such as the Zero 8, Tube heads, heatsink on a stage subwoofer, i've seen some really weird industrial type fans ...

Zero 8 owners, I found a way to bypass the so called hiss, without taking apart the ZERO8 and modifying it. My solution, is that I use the Presonus's HP6 headphone distributor amp, it has 2 mono L/R connections for A/B mixing. Also has six TRS cable balanced stereo in's, six TRS balanced cable ...
