Well, i now have the factory sounds loaded in the T1 via a floppy, so all is coming together,,,slowly~~ Now that I'm getting somewhere now,,,,in my efforts to try to find some 'new age' & 'ethnic' cards, i'm able to find them only on floppy,,,,,any disadvantage to this format vs. much more expensive ...

Got IT!! Floppy sounds or original Korg cardsets??
I'm getting somewhere now,,,,in my efforts to try to find some new age & ethnic cards, i'm able to find them only on floppy,,,,,any disadvantage to this much more affordable format?? Everything's the same??

So i don't mess up,, insert in floppy slot,,,,then,,,,, hit 'disk' button,,, then what? and they'll be in there for good?

AHA!!!! we have lights,,,,but now,,
I press the disk button, and it asks me if i want to load,,,i hit yes & i get a message "error:drive not ready",,,but when i go to 'COMBI' & PROG A, i see the 49 'named' sounds in each bank. something tells me i don't even need to go to 'disk',,,,& that maybe that's the floppy they're referring to ...

and now what?? The native sounds need to be re-installed due to battery change,... Nothing comes up on screen,,,I push buttons & they all light up,,,,, i don't have my h'phones here, but shouldn't I see something on the display?

I need to find my old restore disk, but in the meantime I assume I can use an original Percussion sound card I have?? i think all my 88 keys were solid on my T1, espec. since i gently cleaned them all down, BUT after easily changing the battery & putting it back together, i noticed my middle C was coming back up only about 70% back up, and I wanted to know what can be done about it.
