So, why & how are you all using a song template to switch sounds. It was my natural inclination to simply write my favorite programs to the first 16 slots of the USER bank and be done with it?

I am not a synth guy and generally play digital pianos where I pull up a handful of presets at will. I love the microstation for it's size but saving the preset programs to the user banks is elluding me. I want to save my favorite program sounds in this manner: USER 000 Piano (Button 01) USER 001 ...

I got mine last week! I love this thing as a stage keyboard. Waiting for the forum too.
