Just to add to the above -Are there any audio ins plugged to the Kronos? Many times i had this issue when i had the audio in plugged, even though not in use. All i had to do was turn down the input gain and the noise vanished.

Very professional!

You should be able to load the original PreLoad.pcg from the DVD that came with Kronos. Please take a back up of the one in Kronos before restoring the factory one.

May help... please check to which channel, the drum track is pointing to in the Sequencer -> EQ/Vector/Control page -> Drum Track Channel and ensure you have rec enabled for that track on the sequencer.
