Sorry XML, should have mentioned that I'm sending sysex file from Sonar to X3. Works with all other specific X3 files but not X5D one.

The X5d soundset is in either .x5 or .syx format. I tried adjusting the .syx format header using hex editor to correct X3 family. X3 does accept the .syx file but it is nonsense. Thought there was a synergy between the AI2 synths :) Just being lazy as I can always copy each patch parameter from ...

Just wondered if this is possible ? Would love to have Jaybs sounds bringing my old X3 back into life. I've tried editing sysex file with hex editor to change family id - file transfers to synth but is all messed up. Any ideas ? Thanks Stewart
