RH3 "Made in Japan" keybed?
Was poking around in my local Guitar Center today and saw that they had an 88 key Kronos. Above it was an SV-1 so I decided to do a comparison being that both were at hand. When I got to the Kronos I noticed the "RH3" sticker on the highest note, just like the ones the SV-1 is shipped with, but this ...

Hey man, I can relate and definitely feel your pain! I too developed a love/hate relationship with this thing. Unfortunately the hate side won and I sold mine. As much as I truly loved playing it, there were too many little issues that kept adding up, bringing me to the decision to dump it while it ...

why all the problems!
I sold my SV-1 a few months back but still read the forum. Is it just me, or does this unit seem to have way more problems than average. I own gear by several brands, and other Korg gear as well. None of their forums seem to have the amount of complaints as the SV-1. What gives Korg? The idea and ...

The purpose of a forum is to inform and share experiences with the instrument, good AND bad. My experience with this keyboard was mixed. It has issues, period. The fact that there are so many negative posts should raise a red flag to Korg and yes, to future potential buyers. These are legitimate ...

SV-2 Wish List
With all the problems and unreliability issues of the SV-1, I sold mine. But I really loved the concept, and am hoping for a refined SV-2! So Korg if you're reading this forum, here's a few things I would like to see. 1 - A MORE RELIABLE KEYBED! The RH3 is the nicest keybed I've ever played. So to ...

adieu SV-1...
I'm going to have to agree with some of the the points "Valued Customer" makes. I like the idea of the SV-1 but after owning it for about a month I did sell it. Just too many little "issues" I've been reading about here. Key click, blinking lights, harsh effects and amp distortion. Keys played on a ...

While I think you make some good points here, buying an instrument based on what it "might" be able to do in the future is really not the wisest approach. I agree, the SV-1 is expensive for what it is. That goes for most things we buy nowadays. I was lucky enough to pick mine up used for $1300 so ...
Body buzz
Lately my SV has developed a somewhat annoying buzz in the body of the unit when playing. Usually only when I play with vigor. If the volume is up it's not so bad, but at normal "practice" level it's a bit distracting. It's off to the left side. If i push against the front face of the unit, near the ...

COPYING TIMBRES
Anyone know if you can "Copy" a timbre from one Program and "Paste" it into a Timber slot in another Program on the Radias? When I create a new Program and add a Timber, I only get the option of using an Oscillator from the Oscillator 1 section. I thought I'd have a choice of all the Timbers used in ...
