Hello,
is it possible to create a patch that resembles a bass guitar ( something in the direction of the bass on htis track: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=egFezSPH4D8 )
I would be happy if somebody can point me in the direction to achieve this.

what kind of samples are these?

i recommend you install Midi Monitor ( http://www.snoize.com/MIDIMonitor/ ) to be able to view what midi messages go into your computer.
check one time with the nanopad connected and compare it to when your microkorg is connected.

ok, so you want to use the mikrokorg just as a midi controller..
do both, the microkorg & the virtual instruments in garage band operate on the same midi channel?

does anybody here use the esx to play acoustic samples?
I would like to achieve a quite lo-fi, trashy sound, but somehow the samples don't really fit to each other when I try around.
any tips on processing or which sample to use?

did you check in the preferences of the editor program, that "Auto scan" is turned on?

there's a new website dedicated to korg patches.. they also have a microkorg xl section.

they're just starting, so there's not much in there yet, but maybe it grows.

Hello, I use an ESX-1 & now I'm thinking about buying an Akai Miniak. Does anyone here have experience with this combination? Do they work good together? Or is there any difference of esx-1 with microkorg as compared to esx-1 with miniak? I want to do some sequencing, the ESX-1 as master, the Miniak ...

Hello, how can i clear ONLY the keyboard pattern on the ims-20?
In the utility i'm only able to clear the whole pattern ( incl. Drums, etc ) . Am I missing something?

hello zululord, i placed a kick on every 2nd step (1, 3, 5,... ), & then you really have to EQ it, so that it works good. If not, the monotribe will react strange, for example it will not play every step. but i have to admit, that i don't use this method anymoe. i installed MIDI into my monotribe ...

i also don't really see the benefit of this as a software..
i think a strong point for people who use the electribre is that it is not computer program, but a standalone device.

maybe they should team up with a hardware manufacturing partner & develop it further.
