Re: Idiots guide

Never used a real MS 20. I thought the app would work like other music making apps.simple and user friendly. As you discovered, the iMS-20 isn't designed to be a user friendly music making app. It's a software version of a real synthesizer. It's like if you wanted a bookshelf, you can buy a premade ...

Re: Idiots guide

Is there a basic tutorial on bow to use korg ims20. I've tried but I just don't get it. Where do u start to make a new song. The complexities of the app are very off putting for someone like me, who found thumbjam, nanostudio and xewton very user friendly. Question: Do you know how to synthesize ...

Thanks. I might look into the nook as the manual is just way too detailed and complex. I wish I could get my money back cos at the mo I'm never gonna use korg.

I think garagebad is excellent but limited. No sequencer or piano roll. No edit facility to clean up errors. Can't import via iTunes. But it's far easier to get to grips with than korg msi20.

After spending a while going through manual and testing out app, I'm thinking I wasted a tenner. It's very fiddly, even on iPads screen, and hard to adjust dials etc. Also how the he'll do u start a song from scratch without all the backing rubbish? How do u record more than one synth parts? Oh my ...

How strange that you can't start a song from scratch and you have to record blank segments just to clear drums and synths. Baffling.

Hi

Hi, I've just installed korg is-20 after reading rave reviews. I was debating about getting it for some time, or the ielectribe one. Anyway this one looks better as it has instruments, sequencer and mixer. I appreciate there is a learning curve and I just hope it's not too steep. Isequence is just ...
