the Kronos is an awesome instrument! So is the Nord Stage 2. Of the 3 Kronos 88 I've owned, there have been issues with all of them. I can't affort to have reliability problems on stage with my main 88 key bottom tier board. The NS2 is NO slouch by any means. I'll just be changing things around and ...

Returned my Kronos 88

I was mid performance and it shut down and restarted on its own. Another Kronos did the same which I purchased for a worship center. I'm going to exchange back to a Nord Stage 2-88. I may possibly get a Kronos 61. Doesn't seem to have as many issues as the 88.[/list]

I agree the price is hefty at $299... even at the slashed price of $249. On the other hand, a real Bosendorfer Imperial 290 is over $200,000. Granted no sound library can sound like a real Bosendorfer. I also have a Nord Stage 2 which has the Bosendorfer built in. Everyone else who also has that ...

I guess my Nord dealer was right when I told him about me buying a Kronos...

He said "I'm shocked that a player with your skill is deciding to buy an expensive Casio...hopefully it holds up"

This is really out there...don't mean to keep up the frustration...but what professional musician has that kind of time to wait and just be left in the dark? Some of my work is being rescheduled around this issue in hopes of a fix. Spending this type of cash on a flagship board from a highly ...

You all are really correct in saying it means nothing. Still Korg has yet to announce anything. So in a sense this is still false hope unfortunately.

I can remember somewhere reading that there were a lot of good RH3 keyboards from serial numbers of 2000 or higher, but I don't know the thread anymore. The only ones that I saw where people gave a definite confirmation were a couple pages back in this thread...one was 23-- and another was 26--. I ...

Personally I don't think Korg is going to make any type of announcement regarding this issue. It's been way too long. They will do what's cheapest for them. Probably redesign the keybed starting at a different serial number (if they haven't already) and then only replace faulty keybeds as they are ...

Re: Is the RH3 issue still an issue

I have not purchased my Kronos yet because of this very thread, of which in I am lost. Has Korg fixed the issue? I saw a youtube video of the problem and the guy who posted the video said he bought two from the same online music store and both had the problem so he switched to a different board ...
