Possibly true that not all potential has been explored in the existing engines. However, there is one which I really tried, upside down and inside out: the CX3 and I am sorry to say it is just not good enough imho for rock music. This is not intuitive. Loading means something else than saving in my vocabulary.

Yes I use the "Tony" CP70 samples a lot, very playable and convincing. And they are a lot better than the Electric Grand in the Kronos HD engine. But yet, I would love to have the real thing.

For the first time since Oasys I am tempted to check it out..... Love the Roland pianosound, like the on board pads for sample triggering and - wow - an analogue filter!

Only thing really keeping me back is the lack of multisampling.
