Re: Replacement System SSD with a bigger one / Issue
Hi. I've finally managed to replace my old 30 gb SSD with a new 256 Gb Samsung 850, using my Mac  First I tried the Korg DVD installationl: it drove me nuts because the process was always stopping halfway through. Then I read somewhere in this forum that the maximum size allowed for the boot ...

Some months ago I got a Mac Pro 6.1 for my home studio. Since the installed OS was Catalina I had to uninstall the Korg MIDI Driver. My Kawai digital piano USB port worked right away, so I connected the Kronos through MIDI cables and forgot about it. Then I upgraded to Catalina my MacBook Air as ...

Further update. The data from the controllers' serial bus are sent from both Kronos. I connected the bus to my laptop through a RS232-to-USB interface cable, running CoolTerm: no readable data, of course, but as I moved the controllers the data flux increased accordingly... I guess that means it's ...

Update. I was talking with a friend about this issue and something he said gave me an idea: disconnect certain plugs on my working Kronos, then boot it to check which error would show up (consulting the service manual and taking great care, of course). After some unsuccessful attempts, I pulled off ...

I'm dealing with the same "19 keybed" error on a K2 after I replaced the power supply... kinda weird. Anyway, since I wasn't able to find the right ISO images on Korg website - I guess the Accessory disks images are for the original Kronos, but I could be wrong - I did some research and I found this ...

distortion - mute buffer circuit
My Kronos 61 1st gen began to generate distorsion years ago. A friend told me he had the same Kronos, so I went in his studio where we recorded both keyboards using a french horn sound that showed the distorsion pretty well: we recorded four audio tracks, from L-R analog out and from digital out ...

SCSI board for Triton Classic
I'm selling my SCSI board for Triton, Triton Rack and other Korg devices. When I sold my Classic 61 the buyer wasn't interested in it, so I took it off. It always worked without any problem. Request: 120 euros plus shipping.
EDIT: sold. The topic can be deleted, thanks

@average_male: thanks a lot for your extra-useful informations! A friend asked my help for a similar issue and tomorrow I'll try to check if his PS needs to be replaced or not (BTW I have a 1st-gen 61 Kronos as well). Did you look at the ENO-1612-K capacitors when you took it off? I was wondering ...

If you have the original Legacy Collection (KLC-1, that came with keyboards like the Extreme and Studio as a promo item, that includes MS-20 controller, MS-20 software, polysix, and wavestation), you'll need to buy the $15 upgrade via the korguser web site. Hi. Do you know if the promo offer you're ...
