Hi.

That should work - I’ve only used this with mine:

But other than the ability to charge while connected, they should work the same.

Congrats on the Kronos!

Yes, it is possible - And you need the Camera connection kit from Apple to be able to send Audio via USB to/from the iPhone.
Also, you’ll need to use the USB B port on the Kronos.

Other than that it should be plug and Play.

First of all. The Kronos is capable of a whole lot more than the Nord Stage can do. It’s also a lot more complex… But sound and playability is always a bit subjective, so I might be a little biased. I own and use both - But I find it a lot easier to build dynamic and «big» sounds with the tools that ...

You can also set one of the available Combi timbres from «int» to «ext» or «ext2». Set the midi channel for that timbre channel to that of the Tyros, and also adjust the keyboard range to something outside of the Kronos keyboard. For instance G9 to G9. Damper messages (and others) should be trans ...

(the original K was fitted with a HDD, and later with an SSD). I think you are mistaken. All Kronos models are fitted with an SSD to my knowledge. (I have a K88 from 2011 with a low 30’s serial number) Mine came with a 30GB Toshiba drive. I think that perhaps the Oasys came with a HDD. And a CD-RW.. ...

Hi decreebass, Chiming in from Norway. I purchased my K88 along with a heavy flight case in 2011. At the time I had a big spacious car + a work supplied VW transporter; So the issue of big and clunky didn’t bother me - the weight of the K88 in the case did though. So for a while the K88 was my only b ...

First off - Do what most fits your wallet.

You're not cheating in any way by loading the PCG created in the K2 on your own KX.
The IP your paying for with the upgrade is the sampleset.

Re: Triton floppy disk to Kronos USB

Do you have a spare floppy disk?
I would try to format another floppy with the PC, and try to save the midi-files from the Triton on that disk.

Guessing it’s a Triton Classic?

@scottify:

Yes.. But I would use the set-list feature.
And you could also name the slots accordingly.
That way, you could reuse the same program, but with different transposition.

It´s much faster than transposing in global.
And it`s also much more flexible than saving programs tranposed.

I’ve gigged with the K88 on and off since I bought it in 2011. At first I used a Roadready flight for it, but that was almost impossible to move from my office in the basement and upstairs and out to the CAR with the K88 inside. Long story short; Sold the flightcase and bought a Gator Pro-go gig-bag ...

I would start in the Mainstage end of things.. On the concert level in Mainstage, on the Midi tab, under "Routing" - There's a checkmark setting for "Control Change 7/10 controls volume/Pan of channel strip objects" and "Send unassigned MIDI to all Channel Strips" There's also a setting for Program ...
