they suffer from cracked solder joints as the solder is the mechanical strength on the output jacks when you fit normal jacks in they act like a lever and put pressure on the solder joints from gravity eventual they crack you then have to resolder them then they work again and make sure you use 90 ...

its also a known problem that the dual linear volume control sliders fail and if its also on the phones i would suspect this if the diagnostics dont work the trinity does have floating phono,s the only mechanical protection is the solder pads and they do fail due to phono leads i fit 90 degree phono ...

1 t3ex dont do pcg they use the older method pcg came a lot later in the n series the only way to do those file is to image them with omniflop in the pc there are 2 types of format options on the t series with the ex theres just all program data times 4 and and sequencer data and there is pcm data ...

check for cold solder joints on the audio outs as they can crack and can be intermittent this happens to all korgs as they rely on the solder joints as the mechanical strength i recommend the 90 degree phono 1/4 inch jacks as they dont put so much strain on the sockets where as the straight versions ...
