I just found a song I was working on quite a while ago, when I just got my K. Although I never finished it I think it's really nice :)
Thought I'd share.

All K except for the drums. Enjoy!

I'm not at home right now, but from the top of my head I thought it was modulating frequency modulation settings. Look into the OSC tab en it's somewhere in the lower left part of the screen.

Admittedly I've been wishing for some more sophisticated mapping capabilities myself, due to the complicated nature of the music I was playing. I found myself needing to mix up sounds scattered around the keyboard, some keys playing the first program, some keys the next, in about 10+ zones. Mapping ...

Kronos and progressive metal I started working on pre-production for our new album when the band decided to split up. So I might as well share it with you, to hear some Kronos in action in band context. About half of the song was finished, without vocals though. Drums, guitars and bass are not ...

Can people advise as to how appropriate they are for low volume? Or are they made to be cranked up a bit? A decent pair of monitors will sound perfectly fine at low volumes, as will they at higher volumes. I think the idea of speakers sounding better at higher gain comes from the guitar amp world ...

I remember reading in the manual that, if the combined CPU usage for FX from both programs/combi's exceeds the available capacity, the old FX will immediately be removed and the sounds muted. This is a bit less graceful than what happens with exceeding voices CPU, which will only mute old voices ...

I think I do hear what you mean, but it isn't real distortion. What I hear is a noise produced by a part of the actual recorded piano resonating at that frequency. Those kind of noises are pretty common on piano's, especially when mechanical parts are a bit loose and able to resonate. Didn't notice ...

Added RAM today -> Kronos rebooted just now

This is not a rant about unreliable hardware, but just my conclusion about RAM upgrades. Today, I happened to find a 2GB stick of RAM lying around, and it conformed to all the RAM specs mentioned in the RAM upgrade thread on the forums. Since I wanted to try out the exs11 demo anyway, I decided to ...

Messed up installing EXS11, safe to reboot?

Hey While installing esx11, I accidentally disconnected the usb drive from the Kronos (it was attached to an extention cord and I moved things around), and now the installer hangs at 28%. Reconnecting it doesn't make the installer continue, so now the machine is basically stuck. Since it's actually ...

Great work. I can hear a Jon Anderson type voice singing about "apocalyptical eddies of nothingness in a whirlpool of wonderness, exorcised through the eye of a blue whales realm of existencialised comprehension eclipsing the parallel interspace of mind and pizza." Does it need to rhyme? DB That's ...
