this works great with live.

you can use it with any daw, but ableton live is the easiest. its not hard at all to record in ableton. if your having trouble you will have trouble with any daw..

here's how. Ableton > Preferences: Enable track and remote for the Padkontrol (Out). Create a midi track with your instrument (Track1). Create another midi track (Track2) and set it's routing like this: Midi From: Track1; Midi To: PadKontrol and ARM Track2. *(channel 10 should be set unless you have ...

shoulda hung out man.... new drivers and it'd be cool. your initial instincts were right.. padkontrol beats mpd, unless your more interested in knobs than pad sensitivity, then mpd wins. but for pads it slaughters akai stuff. and they light up,

is it possible to set up the pad kontrol to have the lights of the pads corrrespond to a loop or do they only light up when you press them. I use the NK2 in live mode (much more flexible in Live) and also assigned some other elements to buttons and knobs. Sorry, not trying to highjack, just curious.. I think i can help but need a little more info, when you open the editor it shows all the korg nanos and you cant check "control selected" right? click on nanopad 2 option. does a communication box pop up saying " failed to open MIDI port " if yes i cant help. if not your unit is connected and you ...
