Yes, sometimes I had the issue when adjusting the keybed. I also reduced the distance so the black felt would seem fine. It's a shame this issue is still present even on the Kronos 2 (I've just read two threads regarding the keys making weird sounds) Luckily for you, your issue is just cosmetic but ...

Let me try this analogy: - The Akai MPK is the computer keyboard. Is will just send the "letters" (keys) you press. - The Kronos, the CTK-6250 and the DAW (digital audio workstation) are the computer. Those are the "programs" which produce the actual sounds. So the Akai MPK will never produce any ...

Diego5150 and I compared our pictures, is there some programming difference between the x 61 and x73? Mine clearly has the auto shut off and his does not. Why would the actual options be different? We all use the same manual don't we? That's a mystery... I think it is related with the motherboard ...

actually, it was this o/p that we were addressing : " I am wondering if a 64bit OS could be developed for the actulal Kronos and Kronos X. What I really need are more programs and more combis and I am afraid that this is only possible if you can adress more RAM than today. As far as I understand ...

Do you really need all of those libraries at the same time? I guess you don't use a computer based DAW then? My needs are purely based on live band use. Sorry we're talking about the issues which arise with 32 bit and the RAM limitations. Please lets us avoid this kind of questions.... Mozart only ...

The OS is 32 bit :( This limits the amount of RAM you can have to 4 GB but there are only 3 GB available. However, SST allows you to get the most of the RAM by loading just a small part of the samples and playing the rest from the SSD. By using this you lose the ability to play the samples in ...

That said, for those of you who've had this fix performed, can you tell me how common is it for the issue to keep recurring? I see in the other threads that there are some people who seem to have had to return their Kronos multiple times - are they outliers, or is this common among people who've ...

I sold my Kronos X 88 and got the Kawai MP10 last year, best decision I ever made. The Kronos keybed is like a childs toy in comparison my opinion. Had they brought out a Kronos module like the M3 one, I would have brought it in a heartbeat as I love the sounds of the Kronos. It's a real real shame ...

Read this thread Paraphonic Envelopes & String Synths Very good MarPal. Hadn't realized this had already been discussed in length. I see that you had found a solution using the MS20's patch panel. Could you elaborate on that at all? Thanks, phattbuzz First, you must know how to route any Synth ...
