It's a fairly malleable translucent plastic. Before you apply paint to thr stand, I'd suggest getting hold of Korg tech support, explain that you've just discovered your unit came without it and request you're sent one from the spares department...

Have you attached the supplied clear plastic strip to the front of the music stand base? I've had it attached since day one and never had any trouble...

The SV-1 does not support the DS1H. I did the rounds with Korg technical support in the hope I could get mine working but the upshot is that they are simply not compatible. Apparently there is no modification their engineers are aware of either. Shame - great quality pedal.

@jook Sorry it's taken so long, but here are a couple of images of the CX-3 mounted above the SV-1 on the On Stage Stands KS7150 platform stand with the KSA8000 2nd tier. Sure. I'll take a few photos on Monday when I'm at my next practice. I'd be cautious about putting the SV-1 on top of the CX-3 - those screws on the underside of the SV-1 could scratch up the CX-3 a treat.

The On-Stage Stands KS7150 platform stand with the KSA8000 2nd tier has been a great setup for the SV-1 with the CX-3 mounted above it for me. Played several gigs with it - very sturdy, easy to set up and pack away and there's a bag for it as well. Has the vintage 'legs' look which suits the SV-1 ...
