I would love the Vox Human preset from the polymoog keyboard used by Gary Numan on "Cars" In fact all of the synth sounds off Replicas and the Pleasure principle!

Certainly interesting but I'm surprised you enjoy the sound quality. I found it distinctly cheesy. One caveat though I was unable to download the HD version, perhaps this sounds better. I think it will be awhile yet before something that harkens back to an organ stlylistically would have any mass ...

Well done Kevin and Daz et al. Perhaps this is the silver lining to the recent Korg news. Perhaps we will now become a community of active programmers rather than the passive preset users I suspect many, including me, currently are.

It does start to sound like there has been no small amount of soul searching in the Oasys team at Korg. So there it is a human answer to a corporate decision. Probably time to move on and revel in the rather exclusive club that is ownership of the Oasys. Life's not so bad is it! If Korg had said ...

They certainly wont get my money again, they shafted us on the sequencer. Neither yours nor mine. I agree with the sentiment. The problem is Korg still make the best quality stuff out there. Check the build quality on current Roland gear. Nontheless no one will fall for the "open" architecture line ...

HI Jeff are you the same guy as of "Bowling for Columbine". What sounds are you looking for?? My guess would have been that the O would be a good match. My musical taste is very much electonica including the sort of Nine Inch Nails gltichiness. Naturally that means a lot of the presets are of no ...

I understood matching pairs only had an advantage with dual channel motherboards, don't know if the oasys is. Even then I think the gain is debatable. Having said that putting in the extra gig with the right specs is a total no-brainer, do it!

Ta

looking forward to trying them.

Completely agree about the Nord. I bought a Nord stage on its release, the weighted action was awful and the sounds were pretty much as you describe. Fortunately The dealer took it back and by that point I had enough cash to pay the difference for an Oasys. WooHoo

Re: THAT MYSTERIOUS FUNCTION BUTTON

... That Function Button ( for me anyway ) would be a good solution.... And for some others its just as a excuse say something err, lets say , funny? (See Vortex post above, and some other post in other forums regarding "the Function button in the OASYS that has no function at all") and so on, and ...

If you press the function key once daily you will notice a progressive increase in your cognitive skills and generally have a happier life. Best button on the OASYS.
