Logic X and Mainstage Awesome!

The ONLY drawback to the Kronos is its lack of ability to function as a plug in in my 64-bit DAW....but that is a big drawback.

As a result, I use the Kronos only live, and record only with plug-ins from other manufacturers.

It would be so nice to have the Kronos be able to talk to my DAW!!

Hi, I am having difficulty playing WAV files in the SEQ. I can load the 24 bit 44.1 files just fine, but it stops after 60 measures. I've tried to set the song length the the full 175 measures of the song, in "track edit" but it will not accept any value for song length other than 64. What am I ...

How well does the AU plug in work? Any problems or glitches?

I have a Kronos 88 that does not have this AU function and am thinking of 'downgrading' to the Krome to get this feature.

jeremykeys Can you explain the steps to have the Kronos control rotary speed for organ patches by using the damper pedal? This is the default method used on the Kurzweil [for example], and it works great!! Obviously hands free, one less pedal, and the damper pedal is a lot bigger to hit with my foot ...

Thanks to help from this forum, I was able to get the 2.0 editor to work with OSX 7.5 by upgrading with this supplemental upgrade: http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1599

Yes, your suggestion to use the 10.7.5 supplemental update did the trick! I can use the AU plug in feature in Logic.

I use Logic Pro. I am also surprised to see so many users of the internal sequencer While it is nice to have the Kronos' sequencer for a sketch pad or catching a quick idea, it lacks the incredible flexiblity of the DAW, not to mention the bigger screen [mine is 42"].

I would be very interested in a Mac version.

Does anyone know of a source to obtain the Kronos patches in a form for the Logic environment?

I'm also having problems with the mechanical keybed of my Kronos 88 with an early SN. About 15 keys, both black and white, have a definite 'klunk' when the key is released, regardless of speed or technique, especially in the upper registers. Also, there are visible gaps between a few of the keys ...
